| OK chiefa, look at it this way, the MORE lumens you have the BETTER... K = Kelvins = light specturm output... if K=2700 then GREAT for Flowering (budding), if K=6500 then great for vegging. anything in between will be ok, but the closer you can get to the above numbers the better for each cycle..Did I do ok Pros??? | Hmmm, are you joking on that reply cause I am wrong for real.... Lumens and K's are different deals. Lumens are total light output that a bulb gives, more light for our baby's the better (w/ proper ventalation) but K, Kelvins are the light spectrum that we need for certain cycles, vegging, flowering etc... Right, Dont Corn-fuse me Jangel... ![]() Sock | ||||||||

| Sorry WhiteTrash, not trying to hiJack your thread, but read through the above posts we are correct, The more Lumens you have the better w/ proper ventalation. but K= light spectrum and what your girls like during a givin cycle. Baby seedlings, a cool CFL running between 2700k and 6500K is good, closer to 6500K is better, vegging 6500K is bestest ( 18/6 light cycle on/off - to 24/24 light cycle always on is good), 2700K is best for vegging (12/12 lighf cycle on/off).. Do you see what we are saying?? Peace, Sock | ||||||||
