| It's amazing what my brain comes up with just staring around the room (of course I'm stoned. Can 't seem to think clearly when not - see medical marijuana and ADD vid). I don't think my father had growing in mind when he built himself a darkroom in the basement and a workshop in my old bedroom. There's 4 footers in the darkroom and as I stare around my bedroom, I realized that I have two more (3 tube) on my ceiling. It's too much light for me. I like things much more subdued. I'm taking those puppies out and putting them in the darkroom when it's cleaned and disinfected. http://www.greenpassion.org/f16/mold-mildew-6183/ And in the meantime, I can take the one in the darkroom and throw it in my closet. We'll be remodeling our kitchen in the not so distant future and there's another 2 tube flouro in there. And if memory serves me, there are like 2 unused, still-in-the-box fixtures in the basement. And I didn't want to move back here. Things are most definitely looking up. The last bunch of years. (It all seemed to begin with the election of 2000 and has gotten worse since.) I kind of laugh at the fact that I have more light than I need. I wasn't planning on growing that many plants at one time. I know I can expand if I need to. This is me right f**kin' now: Houston, we are go for takeoff.

| Bohica, Nope, the thread can stay here...it's close enough to the right spot.. ![]() You will want to be sure and check the lamps in the lights and make sure you have the right lamps for plants. You can even save the reflectors, get a T-5 ballast and lamps, and make them even better.. ![]() ISO

| The best is T-5. Next is T-8, usually only for veging and side light. or clones. Some say T12 is okay for the same. Not heard much about T-15's. Check out what ISO said. It could pay you to at least convert a couple to T-5's. Good luck and hey, it IS free! P.S. although I do remember seeing a utube thing using T-8's in a large grow. Brown Dirt Warrior? Not sure, one that was posted by green_nobody
