| Hey folks.... I am starting my second grow. The first one was going better than I had expected until the local boys in blue had to come to my house on an unrelated call. My poor babies had to be thrown outside in a hurry at the wrong time of year (they were one week away from 12/12 and it was very late summer) and left on their own to die. I couldn't During that grow, we had replaced our stove and I kept the stovetop. I cleaned it up and painted it white. I then disassembled the four clamp-on lamps and put the sockets through the four holes. 4 150 watt CFL's on four plants(first grow, starting conservatively from bagseed). To keep the "fixture" above the plants with two adjustable curtain rods (I was growing in my closet and these were perfect). I know I put it away in anticipation of another grow and I can't track it down at the moment. I am so hoping it is still here and hadn't gotten tossed with a lot of other stuff of mine that I wanted to keep. There have been several people other than myself cleaning things up around my house after the poor demise of those beautifully trained (LST) plants. I know that they would fuss at me for the weird things that I like to keep (I like to recycle; you never know what might come in handy) and may have pitched it when I wasn't looking. I am hoping that the reflector is still here. I'm hoping beyond hope that I put it somewhere really safe cause I sure want to use it again. When I find it, I'll post a pic. If not, I'm in search of another stove top (maybe three). I like to see what I can find on bulk trash day in these parts. | ||||||||

| Hey.. a bunch of years ago, my friend and I made an unbelievably accurate scale from a butterfly can opener, a paper clip, a ruler and 23 cents. When that bag we weighed was put on an electronic scale, it was dead on. Like my mom used to tell me, "Necessity is the mother of invention." Peace and Namaste

| I have the same problem as you. People throwing the random stuff i try to collect for a project away. I've got really posessive of stuff lately as any throwaways will delay my completion. Nice idea on the cooker top reflector. It's good to see I'm not the only one replacing things people pay loads of cash for with salvaged household goods lol | ||||||||
