Default First indoor CFL grow

So after sprouting outdoors and moving I have changed up my game plan and decided to CFL grow for my first try.

My new garage had a T5 lying around so I mounted it up and started my 18/6 cycle.

I have some questions about my grow and what I should get to get better results.

Currently I am using MG and a Hyponex mix. I am growing under the two cfl light tubes which are 25w each. They came with the light fixture and emit a very vibrant white. Assuming they are on the higher end of the light spectrum scale.

I am wondering, is this sufficent engouh light for the girls or should I get more. I am unsure of the lumens that the bulbs are emitting. I have heard better results from the lower wattage bulbs though. The area is W 1ft L 3ft H 2ft

Since the switch from outdoor with about only 6hrs of light, to what im using now. They are growing each day and im very suprised with how fast, I must be doing something right!

Here are some pictures of my little girls after 16 days.

Well as the saying goes ....

The MORE light the BETTER!!

So you might get it to grow under the 2 bulb's, but it would take awhilein my opinion, and wayless harvest,
I Dont know about t-5's really,

i just use the cfl bulb's,
get like 6 or 7 in a pack for 12-13 dollar's at Lowes,

Someone will chime in with a better answer but my advice is dont stop with 2 bulb's, add as many as you can , around the plant, Good Luck,

Once your plants get a little bigger start adding some bulbs. Add what you can while keeping the heat down. If your growing these out indoors, your going to have to keep them short by keeping the lights close becouse you dont have much room. There is all kinds of techniques for growing in small places.Look around the site and see what suites you.
Good luck with your grow

My mistake on what kind of lighting im using. Currently im using a t-12 light fixture. Which houses the most common 1 1/2" tubes. I swapped out to some new t-8 bulbs, 1". They are 6500k on the light spectrum, and 2700 lumens per bulb.

For three plants it should be good enough, I think....?

I also modified my grow area yesterday too. Next project is some pc fans to vent and oush air in.
