what you want is a bathroom fixture for incandescent bulbs. they come in 3, 4, 5 and 6 bulb configurations and, with splitters to double the bulbs, a 4 bulb fixture becomes an 8 bulb fixture
so, continuing with the math, 8 bulbs times 40 watts = 320 watts, i think you could grow some awesome nugs with that, i say think rather than know 'cause i haven't flowered yet but i've seen some beautiful nugs grown by others (and so many i can't remember them all), enough to believe man, lol
if you want to see what i'm working on myself, come take a look at my imaginary garden (i have 2 4 bulb fixtures, just like what you need)

btw, my two 4 bulb fixtures cost me $4.88 each and 4 splitters at $1.50 each so my light fixtures cost me under $15.00 each, way better than buying a clamp light for each of your bulbs

something else to consider, even at $10.00 per bulb (and, you can add light, one bulb and $10.00 at a time), thats $80.00 plus $15.00 = $95.00 for 320 watts of CFL power that spreads the heat around more evenly and also allows you to really tweak your spectrums of light.
you may not get the results you would with a HID system but, all in all and as a new grower, i think that would be your best way to go

as an aside, i have 6 clamp lights that i'm using for mommas and supplimental side lighting (actually, i will be, i'm not there yet, LOL), that's why I advise you to get one (multi-bulb fixture) now, before you have 6 clamp lights, LOL

anyway, that's my two cents worth, LOL, so bake on man

oh yeah, one more thing, if you're a handy kinda person and know anything about electricity, you could make your own fixtures from scratch, it's not all that hard (i doubt you'd be able to do it for under $4.88 though, lol)

Yes, you should add more lights. Bozo is right with what he is saying, and so are Scott06 and Hobo. Add more light. Go to the section on CFL'ers and read what it says there. All of us have said it. Yes, add more lights.
