Default CFL " Strain "

Is there any type of strain to look for that loves CFL lighting??

I was thinking of doing 2 600 watt lights.. But I will " grow " weed anyways with CFL and save in lighting cost.... Will it be the same amount of produce? Prob not right? Now close?

The autoflower strains are they any good?

If I were to polinate a female with a auto will that become auto also? All the seeds it would produce..?

What ever strain I will use for CFL I want to produce some males and females to get there seeds so I dont have to keep buying them....

Thanks & keep smoking =)

Wow I didn't know they had 600 watt cfl available.Where can I get some?

I think and correct me if I'm wrong guy's(I'm a newbie) but lets say you equal out the lighting of a CFL with a 400watt hps I think u should yield the same amount of produce.Example for each watt of a HPS you get about 105 lumens and for a CFL you get about 65-70 lumens so it will take 600watts of CFL to equal out the 400 watt HPS in lumens.

HPS 400watts X 105 = 42000 lumens
CFL 600watts X 70 = 42000 lumens

Cool

I don't think cfl's will ever be able to produce as well as HPS. i've never even used HPS but I do know CFL's do work and work well, just not as well as the sun or HPS. and you will save money with CFL's but the more CFl's you have the more lights you will have to move more often. Pain in the ass. I hate it. i have 3 sizes of cfls. None are 300 watts. I'm not sure they do make 300 watt cfls. mine are 300 watt equivelent. aka 65 watts. but trying to find the best place for the lights is a pain. But I'll never say CFL's aren't worth using on any strain.

if you pollinate a female with an auto flower you may have some auto offspring but mostly probably not. you may have to breed pick out the auto flowers and pollinate them again to make sure you have a more stable strain of seeds!

Good Luck

^I ment 600 watts straight not equivelent as in 9 to 10 - 65watt CFL.Meaning 10 65watt CFL will do the same job as 1 400 watt HPS.I don't if I'm rite on this but I will like to know as well.Thanx in advance

from what I've read on this forum or others. the CFL's still wouldn't produce the massive buds you'd get from HPS. and comparing pictures of the same strain i'm growing to others using HPS. i see a difference that makes me want to cry. they have bigger buds on 3 weeks of flowering on a younger plant than i do at 4 weeks. you could probably get an HPS for the price you would get 10 65 watt CFL's. my 65 watt CFL's cost $15 each.

When I get the money I'll probably spend around 200 bucks for 2 150 watt HPS lights.
