hey im new to green passion and im starting my first this will be my grow journal i am using white printing paper for reflection on the walls,floor, and roof of my cab, 3 26w cfls i believe warm white it doesnt say, foil on the homemade top of a shoe box light hud, 3 holes for the bulbs, light fixtures from desk lamps, a timer, a power bar, no nutes at all, and marical grow and some bagseeds
i will add pics once i get some will this work for 3-5 plants into first signs of sex? and 3 to bud? they will be lstd becuz the stealth small cab is about 16" in hight 15" in depth and 9" in width (these were takin with NOTHING in the cab)

Im new to the indoor side of things myself , but i will tell you what i think ,and the veterans will fillin shortly

I Think you need to consider foil tape(at lowes) instead of white paper, (if your trying to protect the paint or color of the wall, maybe stick the paper on the wall then foil tape the paper)
I Dont think it will send out the reflection needed, but i dont know for sure,

3 bulbs - It might work but it might grow slow, always keep in mind - The more light the better ( just have to make a exhaust point for all the heat from all the bulbs)

as far as the shoebox, im not sure but it could be a safety hazard? The lights get pretty hot,

go to the DIY section here , and look at the "Rubbermaid Grow Box" , take the 3-SOCKET light fixture from lowes and installit somewhere, --i just wouldnt feel safe having all the heat directly on a piece of dry cardboard.

Yea you might wanna lstd or scrog to keep it in check,

This is just my thoughts bro' i may be correct/incorrect on some things, , we'll wait to see what the others say...

oh and how much you should yield, is just a question mark,

because it depends on so many different things, lights,heat,nutes,soil,ph levels,water,strain of weed,the air flow you have and the whole enviroment its in,

so its a suprise

ok thanks and the cardboard box should be fine i got foil over the carboard to it shouldnt burn and the cfls stay pretty cool but i only left them on for a hour and the temps i felt from my hand were around 22-26oC i dont have a thermomator so :P but i think its work out well have to see and for the white paper just cuz its free cuz i have **** loads and i ran out of foil thats all

Believe me, about a week into my grow i didnt have no thermometer/humidity gage (get one at Lowes with thermostat/humidity gage for 4 dollars) , and my plant still grew but SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO slowww,

put the thermostat in there and my temps were above 90!!

now 2-3 days later, the thermostat and humidity gage has almost doubled in size the plant,because i have the right conditons now,

so i would invest bro' ,

BTW, matte white is WAY better than foil to line your box with.
I've also heard good things about aluminized mylar, but its not cheap. If its your first grow, I would go with matte white. Should be easier to control temperature....

It sounds like the most valuable number to keep in mind for this grow is 911.
Look at the FAQ and DIY posts here, I bet you can find something that will not only be safer, but will in the end help you produce better bud, and you should still be able to keep your costs low.
If you just slap something together half-assed and it does not work out, not only will it have wasted your time, but it may sour you to the wonderful world of growing.
