For anyone who needs it, here is a link to the governments clean up directions mentioned in the story. To be honest, I thought that having mercury in the bulbs was common knowledge.

it is a bit over the top, they contain so little mercury that a gallon of average US drinking tab water hold more... and don't eat any tuna anymore it holds more then 100 times that or even more then those CFL bulbs do

they just raging panic again to kill it and save the profit of the big fat cats!
