| Well. two things happened last night. I didn't harvest because it appeared that the bud sites bloomed a little more and after a long day at work and playing with my 6mo daughter i was to tired and lazy. But, tomorrow night, Friday, i will harvest at least the lower shoots since the pistils are becoming mostly brown and wilting. I believe i should be able to harvest the main cola as originally planned--Thursday the 25th. I also remembered about hypothisizing that flowering was delayed because of the pest problem i had. Most of the pistils are white like roots on the main cola. I may even do one more dose of Molasses the next watering, Friday/Saturday. After that i should have one more regular watering either Sunday/Monday and then harvest thursday. kailiwela44

| Kaili I'm not sure how severe the yellowing and the falling leaves situation is but from my experience with my first plant and seeing other grows I would say that fan leaves tend to fall off as the plant gets more mature so it poses no threat against the crop. This is a good indication that the harvest should come very soon once the rate of dead leaves increases significantly because this is what your plants would be doing during the fall harvest season anyway along with all the other beautiful trees and plants. Do you have any way of checking the trichromes to see if the majority of them are milky or not? How are you judging harvest time other then the fan leaves falling? If I'm correct, I think that the pistils are about 2/3 amber or brown during the time you normally harvest a plant. I could be wrong.. Make sure you post some pics before and after harvest!!

On another note: Dealing with bugs and high temperatures has certainly had it's effect on flowering period. None the less, she is a hardy girl and now i keep contemplating wether to reveg or leave the lower buds to overripen, hermie, and collect that pollen (i believe this is how Soma does it). I have a Top44 plant which i can try to pollenate if the timing is good. kailiwela44

| Here are some pictures i took before i left for work. Sorry they're not the best, it was early in the morning and i was late for work...as usual. first pic is the top44 supercropped on 9/18/08, the second picture is the Top44 after i gave her a trim, the third fourth and fifth picture are from earlier this morning, pic 3 and four are the front and back of the main cola, you can see how she filled in and she keeps filling in. the fifth is the smaller colas. The last pic is of the Top44 this morning. You can notice how the tops are stretching up. i'll be checking trichomes later tonight at lights on. Hopefully they're a little cloudy so i can harvest. kailiwela44,

| I checked the trichomes at three different areas; the top, the middle and one of the lower branches. They all showed me the same thing--clear and without the head thing that looks like a mushroom, Trichomes look like spikes. Is this because they are still forming and maturing? Also, when looking for a sugar leaf to check, there is nice budding under the trim leaves covered in frost. Looks good and i can barely wait. kailiwela44
