Cool 550 Watts Of CFL POWER

These pic's are of MY strain called MS.GOODBUD a sativa breed of unkown origin.
The first 2 pic's are of my light rack 2-6 bulb white bath strip lights(LOWES $14.00ea)
secured to each edge of a piece of plywood 24"x42" with reflector sheathing inbetween light strips(I used 8 bulb Y adaptors to place inner bulbs at a 45* angle)
THE BULBS:
4-65w 2700k reading bulbs(LOWES 16.99 ea)
8-24w 3500k bright white bulbs(HOMEDEPOT 8.95-2pk)
4-24w 6500k daylight bulbs(LOWES 5.49ea)these are used as side lighting in 8" pan fixtures(LOWES 7.99)

WEEK 1 Look at the hairs forming

WEEK 2 There was a growth explosion due to a slight overdose of nutes

WEEK 3 On vacation and unable to take pic's

WEEK 4 Transplanted into 2 gallon containers(I live dangerously) to finish bloom in.

more proof of CFL power and application...is this the only place where people relize CFL's have come of age...nice work jonny...and did you check out the chapter in mark pullan's book on the real jonny appleseed? he was quite a hellion, not the quaint little figure of myth...almost crazy, part mystic, part social reformer, and entrepenure extordinair...never wore shoes, slept in tree trunks, almost married a very young child bride...all kinds of stuff...quite a namesake you picked

KIS
(keep it simple)

I am devoloping a system that anyone can use,it consists of a simple grow box made from a U-HAUL WARDROBE BOX
lined with foil and lighted with 2-4 bulb chrome bath light strips(mounted to a cardboard backing and secured the top sides of wardrobe with zip ties)the strips are set at a 45* angle inward with a piece of reflector sheathing inbetween them.
This system will VEG 4 plants using 6500k CFL's and bloom using 3500KCFL's.(plants can grow to 3')
NOW FOR THE KIS
The nutes I'm using are purchased from WALMART
GREENLIGHT LIQUID ROOT STIMULATOR during first month of cloning
SUPERTHRIVE a few times during CLONING/VEG.
GROWER MG ALL PURPOSE 12-4-8 @ FULL STRENGTH
BLOOMER MG BLOOMBUSTER at 15-30-15 @ 2/3 strength
I do make my own compost tea that they get with each watering

Default A Great Reflector Material

I found this POLYSHIELD product at HOME DEPOT for 5.99 a sheet 4x8
It is made up of mylar with 1/2"foam inbetween. It's used as a insulating sheathing under vinyl siding...
here's a pic for ya.

I thought long and hard before picking this name, and I felt it best fit my purpose here in this life.
No I haven't read that,But I too have raised a lot hell and caused alot of dispair as a teen(a right of passage I guess)and here I can be a part of social reform.I believe that all the MARIJUANA destroyed by our government should be replanted as soon as possible, so I freely cast out my bag seed everywhere I go.And I will do my part to clean the air our children breath...

They are, without a doubt beautiful looking plants you have there my friend.

I like the setup very much, but I gotta be the devils advocate on this one, as it seems to obvious to me, why did you do with so many CFL's?

I mean 550 watts of CFL lighting? You could have gone with a 400 watt HID light, and produced many more lumens, thereby creating bigger and better buds?
Peace

Unless the attached graph is incorrect (sorry I don't have the source url from where I got it). your 3500K bulbs are not adding much. For veg growth 6500K is best and 2700K for flowering. I like the idea of mixing the 2700K and 6500K as it will seem more like the sun to the plants. (says the guy with a single 400W HPS)

Please correct me if I'm wrong as I'm new to growing as well.

peace ,
R.

Ron I think u r correct on this...though 3500k will work, the other spectrums are more usable by the plant...lot's of research on this, not just a stoner legend.
