Default 2ft. by 2ft. 4ft high what the best lighting

I have a spot that is 2 by 2 by 4 high.I was wanting to put 3 23 watt cfls on each wall then hang a 150 hps vertical? I already have 8 light sockets and 6 2700k cfls .Iwant to put 2 sockets per wall one high one low top one put a splitter in so it holds 2 bulbs and 1 bulb low for under growth. If I did this it would give me a total of 12 23 watt cfls on outside .Then in the middle I was wanting to do a remote ballast 150 hps vertical what do any of you think???All together I would have over 300 watts of light all around the outside as well as the inside. Any help you guys have would be great????

The CFL's Are Sounding Okay, And As Well As The 150hps, But You Won't Have Enough Room To Hang It Vertical & Get It Down Beside The Plants In The Center, But It Would Work Just Fine Horizontal For Ya.

I have a closet the same size and I run a sunleaves mini 250(air cooled) in it ...I use supplemental cfl's if I'm doing more than 4 plants and my bulb has 2 or more cycles on it...so far it works for me =)

I guess I will go with the 250 ?Im going to buy everything seperate and wire it myself much cheaper I can get the ballast, bulb, socket all delivered for around 70 bucks, then a heavy duty extension cord ,male end for power, female end for light socket,i will wire the socket to a 6 inch long piece of cord with a male plug so I can plug and unplug the light from ballast ,kinda like a quick disconnect. businesslights.com is the place I think ???they also sell inline fans carbonscrubbers, allsorts of stuff we all could use???that is the place just looked.

hey cam,how are the temps in there if it was not air cooled??I dont know if im going to air cool mine in a cooltube or try to hang it in the middle vertical and try to pack 4 plants around it then turn the plants once a day so the get even light or try to put some cfls on the outside of them what do you thinkwould work best????any help is appreciated.total caost with delivery is 76.98 for ballast, bulb, and mogul light socket not to bad .better than 200 hundred on one .this place also has the 400 watt balast for same price as 250 now I dont know if I should get the 250 or the 400 either way it wil be the same price .ballst are the same$,bulbsare the same $,light socket are the same $ so I dont know .it will get ay to hot in that spot with a 400 ,but if i bont get it in the future I will be cussing myself for not getting the 400.
What are your yeilds like with the 250??off of 4 plants can you ull 200 grams a harvest ?200 grams each harvest is not 1 gram per watt ,but if I could pull 5 or 6 zones off 4 plants with a 250 in that spot I will definitly buy the 250!!

I would go with the 250...the 400 in that space would be over kill...IMO

As far as temps...without being aircooled and the door shut...forget about it...somewhere in the low 100's... aircooled and my door cracked I vary between 79-85...usually I sit around 81.5f

As far as harvest...This last run with 5 plants I pulled 6oz 18 grams...which is plenty for me...my average is between 7-8 ounces but I had a few issues this run...Just get a heavy yielder do some fimming and supercropping and you should hit your mark.

I personally wouldnt hang the light vertically in such a small space...just seems like it would be harder to work around...just MHO
