I'd wait a week more. Don't go more than 9 weeks though.
What camera are you using for that?

Default analysis or counting the days

hey after all I learnt about the hairs changing colors in the 90's
then all the research on trics in the 21st century

r u all just simply counting to 8 weeks on indica dom varieties?

is it really that simple and was all this research just for fun?

common don't just guess - tell us your reasoning that leads to the guess,

that's the interesting part we can all learn from

looking still all pretty clear, leave em till at least 90% turned milky and some may start to turn red - and i'm talking here about the trichomes you so beautifully macro shoot, great picctures, and not the pistils, don't care for those.

I hope for more great macro pictures here

Scott, I can only speak to the harvests I have done.

I prefer Sativa dominant strains, but have grown a few Indica's, as well. I watch the trichs on the Indica's, and usually harvest when there is about 25% amber heads, and cloudy bodies on the trichs. This can give a more cranial high from a normally "couchy" Indica...but as a rule I've found they are not nearly as theraputic to my illness as Sativa's.

8 weeks is a guideline, only, but usualy will get you reasonably close if you are just taking a wag at when they will be done.
