When do you end a cross strain with a short + long finish times?

Legendary Ultimate Indica 8 weeks
New York City Diesel 10-12 weeks

I don't know but if adding the two and dividing it in half would be 10 weeks.
I'm at 8 and a half weeks today

But the truth it's when I see close to all cloudy trichoms, just like a ripe summer plum right?

But I see it happing on the plant now and it's bugging me I have to rush to fresh water in a hurry.

Any one know how I'm felling, please tell me to chill or something

I would suggest using a scope, and go by the trich color. The crossing may and most probably will, unleash heretofor hidden genetic wonders; yield, potency, color, etc.

If it's yer meds/for pain....my guess is that you could be like me in that I always want my smoke to be as narcotic as possible...thus...i let it go longer than most.

I can see the NYCD in there. Those calyx's will swell further...and if it isn't getting that fuel funk in the smell dept..let it go a bit to see if it comes in. On my SD the grooovy stench doesn't hit til the very end...and then...it's the DANKEST bud I've grown to date. Almost skunk'ish! (almost)

if it were me I'd wind down over the next 2 weeks and then make a call.

2 weeks sounds perfect, I changed to plan water this morning considering the time.
I have a Uvonair Ultraviolet Ozonators 5000 going and have to make sure to keep it out of the grow room or it will pull not only the odor but taste and flavor of the bud, but dam it sure dose knock out any odor, I can smoke a cigar and the smell is gone in a hour
