I'd love to do it next time I can soul....my experience is that the buds get darker and smaller the longer you cure....not a pretty cure method visually for sure

Okay guys, I have some bud that I have dried. It is harsh as hell. Can't smoke it worth beans. Can I water cure it or should I use it for cooking or just let her cure longer? I want to try the water cure but MUST it be fresh? And who gets FRESH schwag? Huh? Huh?

Water cure does amazing things for harsh weed , or weed that has been poorly flushed. It also does a good number on the smell , i recall a few years back me and a bud were smoking a joint that didn;t have a smell , this is were i first learned of water cure.

Although in most cases it will still smell like herb (mmmmmm skunk) but with a long cure it really mellows it out. The only real problem with this method is bag appeal after a water cure its really not the greatest thing to look at if your looking to buy it or sell it . But for ones head stash it should not matter...Somewhere i have picks of my last water cure..

I would definitely only 3 day it, if it is harsh weed, as it has been at least partially cured before, but water curing is very good for harsh weed, it was how I first came across it actually.

I just did a 3 day on one bud. Then dried it in a diy solar dehydrator. SOLAR DEHYDRATOR

The smoke was very smooth, but there was still a very strong chlorophyll taste.

hey fman do you know what the temp get's up to on that neat dehydrator

I may make one, but I don't want to "fry" my budz

it might also make a nice DIY thread if you feel like posting it!

Hey folks, can you re-use the water you drain off every day? I buy my water and I just cannot pour it down the drain. ...somehow it just does not seem right. Would it hurt my plants? Kinda looks like dark pee but it doesn't really smell bad.

P,.S. Kewl dehydrator. It looks to have a "use with permission" quote on it, so I guess we just have to bookmark it.

Scott-- I put a thermometer in mine today- 98 degrees, 42% rh, it was about 100 outside when I did this test. I didnt check rh outside though. I saw a different site with the same unit . It was inside pointing at the window, that would keep the temps down.

jangel--- I only did one bud, and the water smelled bad each day. I dont think it work very well if you kept using "dirty water". I just use filtered water,(not ro) same as for my plants, tea, coffee, and juices.
