i've had my buds in a drying cabinet with a computer fan running for 15 minutes every 2 hrs and at week 3 the main stems still just bend or dent in. Do the large main stalks have to snap or just the smaller branches? the smell of grass is nearly completely gone and they feel really dry but i don't want to put them in jars too quick and have a problem. thanks.

They should be fine after all that time....check them every day and leave the top of for a half hour just to check.

its the branches that should be snapping, or a bud should just snap off...

oh, yeah, the buds will definitely pop off. it's just the large stems that bend or dent when i try to snap them. i'll nip off the buds and add them to my mason jars. half full and then vent every day or just if i see moisture in the jar. thanks!

No it works better if you exchange the air ever day, for the first bit at least, as that way you can not only check for mould but it gets rid of the chloryphyl from the buds. This is important for a good cure.
