Im going to be buying a 5 bag, 5-gallon sets of bubble bags off ebasy and just finished trimming the buds . Should I dry the leaves first or just stick them in the freezer?
Thanks!

i think its better to just put them in the freezer, this will get the trichomes off without any leaf additive getting in when you strain through bubble bags. if you dry the leaves, they crush up easier and more plant matter can make it through the screens.

Thanks! | Personally, I let mine dry for at least a couple of days. Then I freeze it overnight before I process. That's what works for me. Peace. | | The Following User Says Thank You to Zigzagman For This Useful Post: | |

If they are fresh they tend to add the chloraphyl to the hash. and that is nasty!

i just have been putting out trim right into the freezer
and our hash rocks my world, but
i don't have that much to compare it to
i just know that life is much better when it's around
Now, I will experiement both ways to see the difference for myself
can't help it it's a curse..

my experience has been this:
Dry leaves will produce a hash from the bags that resembles pressed kief.
Frozen trim will produce full-melt bubble hash that will have a consistency anywhere from putty to goo depending on what strain you use and the temperature of your water/ice mix.
look for tutorials on the net by subcool. I'm not a huge fan of his Net presence/attitude on some forums, but he certainly has the process of making "full-melt" bubblehash wired.
jangel...IMO...if there's any green you stirred WAYYYY too long and deteriorated the leaf into the hash.
have fun
