In the USA you only need a reason to shop at the Evil empire (Wal-Mart) to find 91% iso in quarts for less than $2.

Everclear also reportedly works very well. On my next harvest I plan to give it a try using the Qwik-wash method posted here.

LoL... I don't think that "I can buy it in America at Wal-Mart" will be the answer they are looking for. Over here if ask for Hemeroid cream they want to make sure you know in detail what to do with, regardless of how long the queue (I am told).

No seriously what do people use if for?

Sorry....couldn't tell where you are in the world.

It's widely used here in the US in the medical industry. Go get a shot..they'll wipe you down with alcohol before they stick ya. Most homes have a bottle or two on hand...especially if you have a bong. LOL (cleans resin off well)

It's cheap and widely available here. I don't understand why such a thing would be resticted.

good luck locating it

Thanks, so for cleaning will be the answer. Over here people use Gin for cleaning, don't ask me why, but it ruined me as a housewife, better off buying proper cleaning products, don't go so well with vermouth!

Seriously we have a hyper market near by I am trying to visualise where it would be found, but that's a long walk, there is a chemist round the corner. Hey if they ask I'll tell them it's for cleaning my 'Sigmunds'* (that should keep them chatting for a few days, make sure I limp next time I pass by) LoL

Thanks again for the heads up.

Why do you grind it ??

It makes it more green, the trics are on the outside of the leaf.

Mine comes out the color of dried blood.

Default French Press method

Ha ha sounded impressive didn't it?
We always look forward to making ISO when we get the chance. We came up with the idea of using our french press coffeemaker. Basically the same method as in the first post, but after the glass jar, into the coffeemaker, press down and pour into glass baking dish..so on.
