Default Question about harvest

right i have 3 BB plants 8 weeks today into flowering and estimated flowering time as far as i know is 9-10 weeks but there seems to still be white pistils appearing.I know a better way to tell is by the trichomes i must get myself a magnifying glass during the week.

For my first 5 weeks of flowering i had a 150 w cfl flowering and things were moving very slow and then i got a 250 w one and i was using both of them and thing really started to pick up.so i was thinking maybe it will go on another 3-4 weeks because the first couple weeks didnt have enough light.

Another question i was wondering about is what if you never stopped flowering i know the high would be effected and the smoke would possibly be worse but would your final yield increase.i know it wouldnt be worth it but just wondering.

Ill try and post some pics tomoro aswell see what ye think of there progress for 8 weeks. Its my first grow aswell.

depending on if the bb is more sativa dom or indica dom....you could take it a littl longer then that more like 10-12...yea after certain time thc degrades just like a fruit overrippens an begins to sour so does overripe buds...peace

Sometimes it doesnt always work out the way they say. If there are some stress issues growth could be stunted and the full level of maturity will be prolonged. Just keep a close eye on them after 10 weeks.

Some strains would seed themselves. Some just degrade.

Yes I do that with my ATF. It matures faster on the lower branches. So snip those off and let the rest of the plant continue doing it's thing until the other buds are ripe. Get a small hand held microscope from Radio Shack for about $10 they are the most useful thing for determining when the buds are ready to harvest.
