GreenPunter is on a distinguished road
Default Querkle stem bends but buds feel dry

i have some querkle drying and the buds themselves feel dry but the stems just bend and don't snap. i over dried my purple kush waiting for stems to snap so i'm wondering if it might be better for me to jar these buds early and just open the jars daily to release any remaining moisture. i sampled a small bud and it burned fairly well but i don't want to ruin what little bud i ended up with. thanks.

wait for the stem to snap, then cure it to bring back moisture. you wanna make sure you dont rush this, or you will be tasting chlorophyl. the outsides are dry but its still moist as hell inside, trust. you cannot overdry, well you can, but nothing a carrot slice or piece of an orange peel cant fix! its better to overdry and fix it, rather than underdrying it, and tasting chlorophyl and messing up the whole curing process.

if you really wanna smoke and dont have any, just trim off a bit of the outside of the buds and roll a joint =) .. good luck

You can also dry slower in a brown paper bag, once most of the moisture is out. It will slow it down, and it is also a good way to help cure it some what faster. I store mine in a brown paper bag for a couple weeks, then jar it. I am still months behind in smoking it so it just goes into rotation then, and cures the rest of the way on it's own.

yep, all good advice. no rushing now. one of the fastest ways to ruin good bud is at this stage. if the stem still bends chances are the middle of the buds are still moist. you can cut one in half just to see. (it wont ruin it)
