Harvested the sister of the first plant (NFO 1) yesterday. She had darker trichs (50/50) than her sis, and also seems to show some purple traits, as told to me by others. (I wouldn't have a clue otherwise!)
Here are the pics from this harvest. The strain (as I was told by the donor who supplied the clone) is called NFO or Newfoundland Orange. Doesn't look orange to me at all, but then again...I'm no Eienstein .
Harvested this one a bit different than the last, in that I removed most of the buds off the branches to make better use of the available space in the dry cabinet. Got it all onto just one screen! If I can do that with the other plants, the drying closet will hold 4 plants at a time...Purrrfect!
Take a look at the buds (trimmed) attached, and let me know what traits you think are from the purple, and IF there is a name we can apply to it. I would love to know if there is a more common name for it, but, then again, I can call it anything I please..:santa2:

That looks like when my NLxBB started to turn purple on it's leaves. YES yours does have a purple trait in it for sure, but it looks like the conditions for the plant to turn purple arrived too late in flowering for the full effect.

Does your fruit/flower room get cold at night?? I seen many a bud turn purple in the cold..
It is a bit chilly out (last night it was 24F), and I have a tough time keeping the rooms warm. 12 hrs. a day there is 1200W of HPS in one room and right next door is the 1000W HPS?MH Combo lamp running. This is all in a space (without walls) that totals 16' X 9.5'.
I've had a couple times when it got down to the mid 50's in the flower room (lights off), but overall I try to keep it as warm as possible during both lights on (generally 70-74F) and off (65-68F).
Tonight I'll have a big space heater heating hte garage that the rooms draw their air from. If I can raise the temp in the garage a few degrees, that should immediately transfer to warmer temps in the rooms.

Could be. These were harvested on days 50 and 51, but the trichs looked to me (via a 21x viewer) that they were amber and cloudy...slightly more cloudy ones than amber, but close enough.

There ya go!
I harvested the first of the Sweet Willie's last night...and from what I saw those buds had a lot of purple in them ( but then again...it was late, and I was.....just a little...bit buzzed )
I'll get those pics downloaded today and make a separate post titled" The Wake of Willie 1", which seems appropriate for saying "Adios" to a plant that's been a great listener for the last 4 months! (yeah...I talk to my plants..don't you?
