Default Oil or Hash?

My question concerns the defferences bettween Oil made with the butane extraction method and hash made the bubble bag way. When you make hash with bubble bags you get the trics. OFF the pot, right? When you extract oil, you get the thc OUT of the pot, right? But most people say after they finish with the bubble bags they just throw the trim away. Isnt there still thc IN the pot, stuff you can get with extraction. On the other hand when you extract, the process works because of the liquid frozen gas, SO does that also remove the trics along with extracting the thc.

this is the way i understand it, for what its worth. bubble or ice water hash, breaks the trichs off the plant and collects them in the bag. with a butane extraction it basically dissolves the trichs into the butane as well as the small amount of whatever may be in the plant matter and collects it in the glass plate as oil. so the butane tends to be a bit more potent, also because theres less contaminant matter to get mixed in too.

now as far as water extraction left overs being used for butane extraction. i spose it could be possible, but i dont think it would be worth the trouble for the small return. as well as the material for butane extraction has to be totally completely bone dry, so the remains would have to be dried as well, just adding to the trouble. all that said, i run my trim at least 3 times thru, sometimes 4 if its producing, and throw it out. to me, its not worth the hassle of doing all the extra with it after making bubble. thats all just how i see it.

With a butane extraction you get a stick honey oil that is very potent. the almost same quality you can also get with an isopropanol extraction, but with the advantage that it also works with fresh material which not yet dried, downside is that you also wash some of the chlorophyll out which makes the smoke harsher.

Then there are the mechanical methods as shaking kief, water hash and bubble hash. shaking kief is the second oldest method known to man, right after stripping the resin right of the plant and scrapping it together. Shaking kief, water hash and bubble hash are all build around a screen to filter the plant matial from the tricomes. Water hash envolves ice just as bubble hash, the main difference is that with bubble hash you use premade filter screen bags that make the work easier on you and you might end up with several grades of hash if you invest in a kit with several bags.
