| you can make honey oil or water/ice hash....there are plenty of threads right on this site on how to do it....personally I would pick up some cheap sifting bags...I found them as low as $70 on ebay and make some hash in a 5 gallon bucket...and there is a video called gumby hash on the site that uses no bags so it is essentially free....are they the big fan leaves or the sugared gaurd leaves from around the bud....if its just big fan leaves then I would go for the honey oil cause there aren't many tricomes to come off the big fan leaves...good luck and let us know if you need help with either method... | ||||||||

| Hey whitetrash6, I'll probably get my butt flamed off for mentioning this, but here goes. If you have a discrete place to do it, you can use a five gallon bucket to set up a mini composter. Composting the leaves (if they are just the large fan leaves) will give you a soil additive that is gauranteed to be perfectly balanced for your grow, the perfect organic mix of macro as well as micro nutrients. Of course, if you are talking about the sugared guard leaves from the buds, you will want to explore was of making some good hash... Later, 4kaan4

| Only thing is that all the posts I have read say to use dry leaves, not fresh frozen. So I have been drying them since Fred told me this. I have one bag of frozen ones as well. I will be watching to here what you do with these!

| Hey scott06, I find I use about 20% less ferts for same growth rate when I use the trim compost as opposed to straight soil. Also, plants seem more resistant to minor problems such as micro nutrient imbalances due to pH variations. Remember, this is a soil additive and not a soil in itself. You will still need to add various elements such as perlite for drainage, etc. I think it makes a noticable if not outstanding difference in my grows when I use it, and I know it does reduce the amount of poisonous synthetic ferts that I give my plants. But wouldn't even go thru the trouble to hide it, just fill on top some kitchen slush or maybe some green cutting from trimming the lawn or hedge. Besides that, for the iced leaves, dry em, frozen em and get a set of bubble bags to sieve of the trichomes. if you check a bit for those on ebay you surely will find a good set for your needs as this one for example: Ebay $90 5 bags kit 5gal Ebay $70 5 bags kit 1gal
