I made a discovery the hard way. A friend had been saving his kief for a couple of years and wanted me to make it into hash for him. I did but the hash is very weak compared to what I made out of trimmings.

I was thinking that Kief must breakdown when stored poorly. My friend has a bad habit of leaving everything in daylight.

I used the exact same method. Anyone know the shelf life of kief?

Great question Mogie, I think the possible answers should cover A-Z. To me Kief is loose Trichs that get collected by screening, cleaning and trimming. Mine has stayed good 6 months, stored airtight and dark. I've run Bubble for some friends and there is no easy way to tell them that weak stuff makes weak stuff. Peace.

let check what "Kief" is, a lose shake of dust from plant material and trichomes head, so everything is exposed to oxygen and slowly turned into CBN... any further question why kief is not as potent after a couple month? the kief in a grinder box should be consumed as soon enough is collected or it going to waste.
