Kief

This is my NEW Kief box, I bought this week at a new local headshop called Starship. I gave $32 for it, it was on sale, and it can be found on the Internet by doing a google of "Wicca, Box" where it sells for $40 for the medium, and less for the smaller and more for the larger.
I already had a 4 X 6 inch Kief box that I bought on ebey for $26 plus shipping, but this was fancier, and larger, with Cherry Wood and gold hinges. I used my old box to just gather daily kief, but with this larger box, I can run a couple ounces thru it and get more Kief. By run more ounces thru it, I mean that I will sit and throw a 1/8 ounce in it, shake it around and then take the pot out and put some more in and shake it some more. The Kief falls thru the screen and is captured on the mirror. Static electricity holds it there until I scrap it up with the small plastic scraper. I had considered buying some silk screen from a friend and making my own frame to gather KIEF.
The pics shows the 100 micro screen, in a frame and a black mirror under tht framed screen, to catch the kief. I used the old box for about 4 weeks , rolling just one joint a day on average in it, and I got 1/4 to 1/2 gram of kief, that I turned into HASH by compressing it.

ALL GROWERS need to study and research Kief, which is gathered trichomes, or gathered resin glands. ALL GROWERS need to read the two other posts here on HASH and Kief and TRICHOMES. They will teach you what you need to know at HARVEST. Plus there is nothing like smoking PURE HASH !

man them are nice,what we used to do was gather all the kief up and put it in a sandwhich baggy than get it all in one corner of the baggy and tie it off real tight so water cant get in it,than boil some water take some tongs and hold it in the boilig water for a couple of min not too long though check it every min like stir it around,the kief will turn into like a paste when that happens try ur best to form a ball out of it and then throw it in the freezer for like 15 min or when it gets hard break lil chunks and smoke it i dunno if it did something but to us it seemed way stronger than just keif without doing that....i sold mine i wanna another one bad now

I get up a gram or two and put it in a cigarette cellophane and push, squeeze and pack it tight! Then I roll it tight, and put it in 4 soaking WET quad folded paper towels and wrap it TIGHT. Put that in tin foil and in a pre-heated oven, bake it at 175 degrees for 15 minutes. All you want to do it bake it and harden it . IF it was WET tostart with, then bake it 20 minutes. Most DIY large quanities of KIEF are gathered thru some WATER process, like the Ice WATER process and ti is wet and has to be dried anyway. If you smoke UNPACKED KIEF in a pipe, it just burns up way too fast. IT HAS TO BE FORMED INTO A CAKE OR ROCK TO SMOKE RIGHT. And in my opinion, just sprinkling it in a Joint wastes it. It gets you HIGHER, but straight hASH smoked without smoking pot gives such a wonderfully different HIGH. A Medical smoker wants that BODY NUMB, that HASH doesn't give as much.

I got up a 1/4 gram of compressed HASH Satyrday afternoon and stoned two of us with it!

I froze two jars of dried trim leaves, they all were trimmed off buds at harvest. Frozen trichs fall off easy.
I raked them around in the box, on top of the screen, and I got over two spoon fulls of kief to make HASH out of.
