how much extra potency does curing provied???

so, we just harvested our first grow, she was grown under cfl's and we cut her down, dried her out and threw her in some jars, we can't help but smoke some from the little jar, but we wanted to know how much extra potency is delivered when she's got the proper cure? anyway, that's about it... I've got some pics I'll show you guys...

im not sure on the potency but the taste and smell triple and the bud is smoother smoking! well worth a good 2 - 3 week cure if you ask me

what it is .When the water is removed from the thc it becomes more potent also drying/ curing gives a higher % of thc per weight and that is what is meant by increased potentcy. As far as I can figure.

But a proper cure makes it smoke a whole lot better. You can take a bud off aq plant smoke it wet and get high but it wont be much fun.

From my experience, and being very impatient when the bud is plucked, it is 10 times better if you cure it! Smell, taste, smokability, potentcy, the whole nine! Trust me it is worth the wait!

yeah, we're trying, but it's rough, two potheads living together dying to do the same thing, it's not too difficult to convince either one that it's a good idea to pinch a couple nugs and the worst part is, I don't think our harvest will last 3 weeks!! time to impose martial law... either that or just buy bags till the girls are ready to smoke.

Yeah three or four weeks seems long, but it will fly by if you don't dwell on it. Get ya a couple o bags till then and enjoy! Wait actually you could water cure it and that would take 2 weeks off! There is a thread here somewhere, I think it may be in the FAQ but it's here! It's awesome!

yeah man, we read about water water curing, but it seems like it makes you lose a lot of flavor. she smelled like sweet grapefruit we want it back. or at least something like it.

personally water cure sucks...let it sit for at least 2 weeks in the jar..check for mold...an it will raise the overall potency of the buds along with smell an flavor...peace
