really Fred, that looks awesome, and thanks for the tutorial on hash makin', i haven't had a steady supply of hash since i was in the USAF in Germany back in '73 - '74. black afghan, $.50 a gram, sigh

anyway, how long can you store the trim before eventual resin extraction?
in other words, can i save trim from multiple small harvests until i get enough trim to make it worthwhile?

thanks again Fred, bake on

ps: no kidding man, i'd really be interested in more details on that press

Hey Fred! How's it goin'? I have a question for you my friend: All the leaves etc. from my plants I have been just throwing into a bag and freezing it green and fresh, daily if I have the odd leaf. It is conveniant for me and I don't want it hanging around the house with kids here. My guess is once I have a full bag full I should dry it, am I correct? I would rather dry a lot than a bit at a time. Do you think this will work or should I change the way I am doing it and skip the freezing part. What are your thoughts?

Thanks sweetie.

Hi Jangel, I would just throw um in a box by the grow and let them dry. There is no advantage to freezing wet leaves. Then when you have enough throw um in the freezer just before you wash them. By the way, I used to use Mrs Freds washer. I just ran clean water thru it before I started and of course cleaned up after But we never had MJ smelling clothing LOL But I got the xtra wash machine so it was more convenient for me. Now she borrows mine for blankets and larger loads! LOL

Only problem with that is it is humid in there. And I don't want to give anything a chance to grow. It is okay as I am moving it all around and adding a dehumidifier etc so it will not be a prob for long. I have a drying rig in the loft of the barn but last time I was up there I fell down the shoot so I don't want to do that every day! LOL! Hurt for weeks after! Just don't bounce like I used to any more!

And I heard you saying you had to fix Mrs. Freds washing machine! Does that mean you f++++ it up, bud? I can see a big twig gettin' stuck in there! LOL! I know, but maybe the martha bags spit that one out!!!!

I am sure he has no idea how much he had to start. I think he said he only puts in 3-3 liter bags,at a time, so how ever much it takes to fill the bags that full, that is how much you put in! But if you have a smaller amount, just do a smaller lot. It is all relative. Just like cooking. An experianced cook doesn't nesacarily know how much of one thing and another. I couldn't tell you when I cook, but practice and experiance teaches you how to do it.
