Default How to make washing machine hash

OK folks here we go!

What you need:
  1. DRY Trim make sure its good and dry. Wash machine 007.jpg
  2. A wash machine, I bought one just for this job. I paid 50 bucks it works great. Hit some yard sales (tis the season) Wash machine 006.jpg
  3. Martha Stewart Laundry bags. Availabe at K-Mart for 5 bucks each. Wash machine 001.jpg
  4. ICE lots of it. I like the big chunk ice but any ice will do. I use about 66 lbs. Wash machine 002.jpg
  5. 2 Trash cans.
  6. several clean 5 gallon buckets. Wash machine 003.jpg
  7. A set of hash bags. I like the big ones with the straps very handy. I use a 220,160,73, and 45. I have a 23 also but with indica plants you dont need it. Sativas I would say use the 23. Wash machine 004.jpg
  8. Time.
  9. BEER!!!!!
Ok Take couple good handfulls of dry trim and place in laundry bag Wash machine 008.jpg Make damm sure you zip it up and TIE the zipper shut or it will open up (What a mess!) Wash machine 010.jpg

Place laundry bag in a 5 gallon bucketWash machine 015.jpg add about 6 lbs of ice cover with water Wash machine 016.jpg Now Drink a beer or smoke a bowl But let that sit in the ice water for about 20 minutes.

After the soak place no more than 3 L bags in the washer Just pour the 3 buckets in along with the ice. Wash machine 018.jpgWash machine 020.jpg
Set the washer up for a small load. Turn off the hot water use COLD! set the cycle to gentile wash for 10 minutes Wash machine 021.jpg Let her fill up and let it run. Wash machine 022.jpg
Meanwhile lets get the rest of the setup done.
Place your bubble bags in the trash can and hook the drain on the can. Wash machine 019.jpg Now I put a drain in the one can and attach a hose to let the water run down into the lower can. Wash machine 023.jpg I do this because I only run the 73,160, and 220 in the first can. More on why later.
OK the wash is done Wash machine 024.jpgWash machine 022.jpgNow Flip the washer into spin cycle and hold the drain hose into the can with your bags in it. Wash machine 025.jpgWash machine 027.jpg
Now the water running out the hose into the other can is NOT trash! Thats still got the 72 and smaller trichs in it.Wash machine 023.jpgWash machine 026.jpg

Ok Now pull your bags. I use a come-a-long Wash machine 028.jpg

Squeaze out as much water as you can. and scrap your gold onto a coffee filter. Wash machine 030.jpgWash machine 031.jpg do this with each bag. Of course you throw away the stuff out of the 220 bag.

Now why do I leave the 45 bag out well if you have ever pulled a 45 bag you will understand why. It drains REALLY REALLY SLOW! So I use a 5 gallon size 45 bag. Wash machine 029.jpg This is way easier to drain. I just scoop the water out of the lower trash can into the 5 gallon bag fill and strain then repeat till done.

Here are the pics of thevarious grades. Its all Very wet yet and look green however it will dry a golden brown.Wash machine 032.jpg

160 Wash machine 033.jpg
73 Wash machine 034.jpg
45 Wash machine 035.jpg

Not a bad pull. TRASH TO STASH!!!!!!!!!Wash machine 036.jpg

Now its off to the kegerator!!!Wash machine 038.jpg

Scott, yes you do have to completely dry the weed first. It has to be very dry.

Fred, this tutorial is mondo cool, and one that I personaly can use in the future, thanks!

I gotta admit there are a few finer points that confuse me, so I got some questions for ya, but I wanna come back when I'm not so high, and re-read it first.
Peace

Yes it MUST be Dry as Video can vouch for. If you do it wet you will get too much chlorophyll and it will be VERY green and nasty.

Fire away with the questions Vid. I got it all chopped up and dryin.

Green ~~ I press it for a couple reasons.
  1. I like doing it.
  2. It looks very cool.
  3. My friends like it that way.
I agree with you though, Pressing actually burst the trichs I prefer the powder but then thats no Fun. (see reason one)

Thanks for the props guys. It was fun! Lotta work but fun just the same. Just took some pain med and drinkin some beer starting to feel like a young man again! Damm bags are heavy!

Hmmmm, I have my stepson's washer, in my basement. I think I can get it. Run bleach thru it, get new hose. I may be on my way, HEY HEY HEY.
