Green storage bags..

I use these green plastic bags for my produce, and it noticeably keeps them from over riping or rotting much longer than a regular bag or even a brown paper bag. Would it be safe to assume that this same kind of bag would keep weed fresh for longer?

PS i am a pathological liar, and have illusions of grandeur. I post pictures of pot plants i found on the internet and i have never nor will i ever consider the cultivation of marijuana, as it is illegal.

I've seen those bags on tv, and they say that they absorb a certain gas given off by fruits and veggies that makes them rot quicker. I am not sure if they would work the same for bud, since it lasts longer anyways, and I think it is more of a flower than a fruit.

Of course, I don't have a clue.
