Freds DIY Hash Press

Ok folks! Now that you have made your hash you need to press it to store it.

After Many many prototypes from workin it by hand pressing it with a bottle, iron and several homemade pipe and bolt presses I finally have invented the FRED PUCK PRESS

1. Have your hash powder completely dry and break into a fine dust. I use a sifter for flour. Hash 003.jpg
2. Remove the top plate. Hash 017.jpg
3. Lightly coat the bottom and inside of the press with cannabutter. Veg oil works fine to!
4. Measure out 15 Grams of kief
5. Dump it into the press.
6. Butter the top plate that will contact the press.
7. Bolt top on and tighten the nuts.
8. Start jacking! Jack it up really tight. The tighter the better.
9. Wait 2 min with the pressure on then try a pump it again.
10. release the valve on the jack.
11. Unbolt the top plate and remove.Hash 023.jpg
12. Jack up the press till your puck comes up.Hash 026.jpg
13. Thats it!

I once saved kief for a year! it took me 3 days to run all the stuff! I was doing it in 5 gallon buckets with an cake mixer! Then I got the 20 gallon bags Way better. With those I used a paint stirer on my angle drill! The wash mach is the best! It still took about 3 hours yesterday to get it done!
