Rep Power: 0 | | First time - Harvest or wait ??
thinking my first grow is just ready to harvest, but would appreciate input.
Indoor plants ~1.7 meter high and 3 filling out the grow tent .
Be great to get some indication how far harvest is away and what to expect of 3 plants of this size in oz.
Cheers

Rep Power: 202 | | Hi chilleze. Welcome to Green Passion. Your girl there looks great. She is getting very close, how many weeks old? Weight wise, you should get a zip or a zip and a half out of those. Peace |

Do you have a loop or some way to enlarge the pics of the trichs? This will tell you if they are ready yet. You need some amber, all cloudy, depending on what you like as far as a smoke. Pure amber very sleepy smoke, heavy and couchlock. Half amber rest cloudy, good stone, more up that all amber, still not bad for pain. Mostly cloudy, some amber, more cerebral and less couch lock. Check out this post to understand this concept. There are many posts under Harvest, hash, kief & Curing for more info Trichome University. If you do not have anything to view the trichs with check out Radio Shack. They have a small scope, hand held, that is only about 11 bucks and works well.

great, i grab a microscope and see what happend, also what i might do is to harvest these 3 girls at different stages eg: clear , cloudy and amber then see whats best suited for the purpose.
Thanks for the info

How long have you had them in flower for and are the leaves fat or thin? Fat leaves signafy a prodominantly indica plant, skinny leaves are sativas. Just took another look at your pics and they do look more sativa. This can mean it will take longer to finish as sativas can take from 12 to 15 weeks in flower to have the trics turn amber. Most likely a mixture though, which usually means 8 - 9 weeks.
Good luck!
