Question colour and scent questions

hey I've been growing for quite sum time now and i feel dumb for asking this but i haven't been able to figure it out on my own..
first off i hang dry for 7-10 days then i cure for 2wks burping everyday

now the finished product tastes gd but it always ends up getting real dark n has a major lack of smell which kills the bag appeal

so my question is how can i maintain the lime green color and how can i save the smell from dissipating during drying?

any info would b helpful
thanks guys n gals

Many Strain Are Different, It Sounds Like You Are Doing The Right Things, Do You Keep It In A Dark Place? It Usually Is Going To Fade In Color As It Dries, They Say That In The Cure The Smell Is One Of The Last Things To Come Through, Maybe Give Them More Time In The Jars..

You might try to maybe put the buds in opaque containers once hang dried? Only one time did i ever use a fully opaque container to cure and thats the only time that color stayed with the buds, the smell was still the same i never expect it to smell what it does like on the plant but it wasnt completely odorless.

However in my posession right now i have a few gs' of some dankness that has no odor whatsoever, smells like nothing even to the nose and is very very dark. When i got it i was pissed (Passed off some ****ty regs from a friend?), but once it was tested its a-ok lol. Very sativa high. (off topic)
