zero; yeah it does have some distinctive leaves to it doesn't it, i was actually really surprised at the size of the leaves as well some have eleven fingers to them, most i had ever seen on a plant before was nine.
Peace and light

Hi greengiant; i started all mine from seed.
two weeks veg then onto the eight/nine week flowering
Only five weeks into flowering and i'm impressed with Big Bang, nice bud sticky as hell.
Don't do what i did and only used water for the first four n bit weeks, was only in week five that i started to feed mine nutrients and i must say i'm so glad i did, the smell from them is wikkid.
Peace

Hi everyone just thought i'd post some more info on my girls.
Well yesterday i took off a couple of the lower buds to try, i had noticed that the Trichs were all cloudy so decided to see what the effects were like when it was at this stage, nipped off a couple of smallish buds and prepared them for the Micro method of drying, got out my tuperware tub, some paper towels and a plate with a small amount of water on it, lined the tub with one dry paper towel and dropped my pre-cut herb into it, i folded the other two towels and placed them onto the wet plate to soak up some of the water rung them out and placed it over the tub, i replaced the lid making sure i left space for the steam to escape set my Micro to 40% for one min, BING, removed the tub and took the lid of and let it sit for about 30 seconds before repeating said process, i did this about three or four times making sure that the paper towel in the bottom of the tub was dry after each stage, if it was wet i replaced it.
Once it was dry i placed said herb into my budbomb and smoked away, what a head rush i got from it, it was quite an uppy stone made me feel quite energetic and wanting to do stuff, ended up cleaning the house from top to bottom HAHAHAHAHAH.
Also just bought myself a hand held microscope as the achromatic lens i was using for Trich examination is only 10 x magnification, the new scope is 60x - 100x magnification so i should be able to see them a lot clearer, just need the bugger to be delivered now.
HAPPY DAYS
more to come
Peace and light
McBong
PS i was thinking of drying my bud in the grow room with the light off and fan running but would this be sufficient for drying??
Also; the micro method already has it's own post but i didnt know how to link to it, sorry.

HAHAHAHAHHA sorry tracy im a one house man these days, took me ages to do but it was a blast seeing as i was a bit mashed, had my tunes blaring all day the neighbours have probably fallen out with me, oh well ill just have to smoke some and forget all about them.
J-angel - I loved it, was only a couple of the smaller lower buds i took just to see what was what with them, i think ill be keeping an eye on the other three to maybe harvest two when minly trichs are seen adn the other two ill leave to go 60/40 for a bit of couch lock.

Greetings McB, Am impressed with your first grow. I just had some questions about your next one... I was wondering if you had taken any clones prior to putting these beauties into flower? We here at GP like to perpetuate our strains and cloning is one way of doing this. When you keep a girl in the grow phase and take clones about a month before putting the strain in flowering, when they are finally ready to come down, you will have your next batch ready to go into flower. Once you get this rotational process down, you will be smoking a new batch of the same strain every 1-2 months. The mother you have in the grow phase never goes into flower (12/12) lighting. Always stays at 16+ hours of light a day, forever, and will continue to grow as long as you feed and keep it thinking it is midsummer. Just clip as many clones as your flower area can handle. So when you start that next batch of seeds, keep this in mind and keep a mother growing. Luck and Life
Nim

Nimbliez; Hi and thanks for the comments, as this is my first grow i am rather ignorant of what can be done with plants and so on, i am at the stage now where i want to harvest the top cola (thanks J-angel) but i am reluctant to do so in case i mess things up and my girl dies on me, the trichs are probably 50/50 milky/amber and i think this would be a good time to harvest to get me a nice couchlock smoke but as i say i am scared to mess it up.
I have never thought about clones but have read loads about doing it, unfortunately i dont have enough room to have a seperate bit for a mother plant at the moment, in the future when i move my grow room i may add a bit so i can accomodate a nice mother plant, as it stands i think im going to get a staggered harvest from my four girls as one is almost ready, one is half way and the other two are playing catch-up, this is all my fault as i didn't feed them any Nutes until week four of flowering with some great advice from J-angel and Traceydm i'm now on my way to four great looking and smelling girls. Ill remember the advice on cloning for the future though.Cheers.
Peace and light

The plant will just continue on sweetie. It will just heal the cut and start sending all that energy to the other parts of the plant. I harvest and reveg some of my budsicles and they are all still alive. By this I mean I cut all but aprox 1/3 of the plant and then reveg them.
Take a chance! Your girl will be fine!
Peace

Rep Power: 64 | | First cola harvested
Hi everyone just a quick update on my girls
Took the plunge yesterday and cut the top cola from one of my girls, the one i thought was furthest
on and ready, it's nice and fat and about 9/10 inches long, for my first attempt at growing i am well
pleased with the results and can't wait to sample some dry bud,
i have made a small drying box out of a cardboard box with a small rod in it at the top for hanging my
bud from, it also has a small door on the front allow air to flow into and around the drying bud will this
be sufficient? Going to get the little hanging thing Traceydm told me about for the other three plants
as i think i will need more space for the buds on them as they are getting huge.
Peace and light
McBong
