You WILL NOT be sorry going HID when/if you make the plunge. I disagree with Shaman when he says that you have to have a 1000hps to get dense buds. It isn't about wattage..it's about how many watts you put into "X" amount of space and how well you ventilate that space. On a lumen per watt basis...CFL's are nowhere near as efficient as an HID nor can they penetrate the canopy as well as an HID. CFL is great for a small grow but if you are serious about filling a room with budsites you will need to buy an HID lamp. good luck btdt | ||||||||
