Here are a couple pics of the roots from the 2 WhoopAss clones I set into the ebb/flo system some 12 days ago. The pics were taken yesterday morning, and there has been a bunch of growth since!

The flood level is still set at about 1/2 way up the netbasket...so when should I drop the level to just at the bottom of the basket?

The original roots of these clones was that long dark thing...and now that I've figured out where my error was in the bubble cloner that rotting crap won't happen again.

is the brown part of the root where light hit it and is that section of root still growing or what. i had the same thing happen in my rapid rooter i didn't use the pots i used the neo things instead

Hey Iso, Just leave it where it is.As the plant grows it will have alot of roots coming out of the bottom of the netpot and the sides too.When the mix drains back to the res it will have wet the middle of the pots and give those roots some feed too.You are alright where the level is.If you do lower it,just lower it 1".In a short time you will see the whole tray fill up with a root mat.You are fine,keep up the good work. And here I was about ready to drop the level to the bottom of the netpot....guess I better some more...

Mogie: theya re nice white roots, for sure. Compared to that nasty one there with them they look even whiter!
