| I just bought this at my local hydro shop,Water Farm- Complete System Question: Do I leave pump on 24/7? also the nutes included Grow, Micro, and bloom is this all I need. Just follow the feeding directions on the bottle and test ph of water and I should be good to go? | ||||||||

| Hey leap270, Yes the pump runs 24/7.As you start use the nutr at 1/2 strenght of the bottle.I dont like rockwool cubes.I use rapit rooter plugs and put them in 4 or 5 inch net pots and fill the net pots with hydroton. Then I put them in the flood tray. You will put the rooted pulges in the hydroton and set the drip ring and turn on the pump and you are off and running.Need more help just hollar. Peace

| okay leap, on the nutrients check for the homepage of the manufacturer as they publish normally feeding schedules that give you a ruff guild line on how to mix the product - some start at a 1/4 strength in veg. basically you measure a volume of fertilizer and mix it into to tank full of fresh water, if you have no EC meter to check the PPM, check and adjust the pH and done. the pump will normally run all day long as toke told you, i would stick to him on this. ![]()

| Leap, Good questions, and ones we hear often. On the Home Page, and in the upper left of your screen in the box is a link to the Classic OverGrow FAQ, as well as our very own (and growing) FAQ. These are great resources for new and experienced growers alike. Here is a listing there that directly answers your question far better than I ever could: Grow Marijuana FAQ, Cannabis cultivation - marijuana growing tips & photos FAQ is found HERE. Hope that helps ya! That article is a bit technical, but if you plan to grow hydro then there is much to learn.. ![]() In short form, EC and PPM are essentially the same thing, in principle. Two different methods of measuring/calculating the electrical conductivity of the minerals in the solution. Hydro growers live and die by PPM and Ph! ISO
