ive actually never even tried soil (:Ashamed

after reading about dwc , i wanted to try it because it sounded so structured...ya know, topping off daily, changing resevoir weekly, adding exact amounts of nutes according to week #..ppm..pH... so on

i took daily pictures of it and i couldnt believe the growth!!!!!! holy shit, still, i can barely believe it

this last one is dreamgoddess, 100% indica; she got 3 1/2 feet tall, and 5 feet in diameter. i vegged to 14 inches with no topping, just hand done lst bending and flowered...

dg puts out a LOT of branches

I have a Bubblicious plant that is going to be taller than me soon...lol. She's going to be a problem, I let her get too tall in veg.....lesson learned. Hydro can get out of control quick.

you guys are all great. I will use a hydro next grow and grow it along side my soil, thus we can have a comprehensive side-by-side comparison.

thnx for all the great info~

Not to be a jerk but the comparision will be over before it starts...lol. As soon as those roots hit water the soil is done, no comparison size wise. Now taste is a different story.

I'm doing the same strain I've done in soil for 2 years in my buckets/hydro this go around...so I hope to squelch OR validate the age old debate on *taste*...at least in my own mind...when this harvest comes in and the bowl is filled.

but yeah..once those root pop out of the hydroton/mesh and hit the water it's friggin' Jack and the Beanstalk time!

oh well, i gonna build me a new one maybe this weekend, base will be an 45l ikea box and and a 8" round mash pot, those are actually the smallest i can find at the moment for some reason... so this will leave me with a hydro box with 2 pots and room for about 8gal fluid and roots... let see were this goes sooner or later

Should be nice, two plants is perfect, they get big. Are you gonna do a journal?
