Default Roots, is this bad

Hi guys, the roots coming out from my rapid rooters are clinging all together and they fell a little slimey. If you look at the ones on the right in the photo you can see what I mean. Is this OK? Can you ever trim your roots or does that shock them? Thanks for your help.

Hey DudeThat's a nice looking cloner you got. Those roots look good,But you need to move the plants to where you plan to finish growing them.Dont cut inless you have to.Transplant them now.Yes you can trim the roots and it dose schook them and it may kill one or two.But do move them.As long as you dont cut to much of the roots you will be fine. The looks of that cloner it works very well,Good build.Next time as soon as the roots poke out of the RR plugs transplant them. The 3 I have in my Cab now I had too cut the roots to free them from my cloner. They took two weeks to come back and start growing.Do it now and tranplant them babys. So what kind of a system are you growing in?Lights, res set-up nutr and all.If you need more I'all be glad to help. PEACE

Awesome roots!! How I would love to have my clones root like that!

What kind of cloner, or did you build it? If so...parts list??? I know about the clone-misters, but what are you running for fluids? Looks like a blend of H2O and ???

Are there any on-line plans for that cloner?

Damn...looking at roots (when I can't seem to grow any!) gets me all excited...!!

Go on ebay and look up seller: rootmasters
or here's the link, hope it's ok to do here
Clone machine 68site hydroponic cloner hyroponics grow - eBay (item 310023838063 end time Mar-16-08 19:27:29 PDT)
It was a little pricey as you can build your own as I'm doing for the flower room, but the guy will help you and make any size, he also sold me just the parts I needed to build my flower room one so he deserves the cash...They will be going into a similar set-up, only bigger with MH for a couple of more weeks then into flower under a 600HPS. Thanks for the replies guys, they will be moved in a few days...

Howdy,

Yep...that's it. I have it all pretty well engineered out except locating those gray colored PVC reducers that go up to the 360 degree sprayers.

Thanks! I had planned this project for this coming weekend...looks like it'll happen...
