Default post your sure fire Hydro nute mix please

Howdy Y'all

I am doing my first in soil but would like to do hydro to see the full potential I can produce. I am asking any and all of you to post your nute mix additives secret formulas medium and whatever voodoo needs to be performed for a successful hydro grow.. I am hip to the ph and PPM thing but what parts of what per million is more of what I am looking for. Please post for veg and bloom.

Thanks in advance to all.

Tough question. different strains have different needs and tolerance levels.

Here is what i would believe may be a good guidline. it is on the hot side in my opinion but I like to pound my plants to the max unfortiunately that has caused me some issues.

Seedlings and clones about 400-600ppm
early veg 600-800
Late veg / full flowering 1000-2000 (be damn careful here! hehe)

A good way to get some baselines is to mix your nutrients per the recommendation of the manufacturer and measure it well and accurately.
This will give you your PPM at differing strengths and formulations.

To dial in a DWC you do this. mix a batch as recommended and measure the PPM or EC, the next day at the same time re check the solution.
If PPM has risen you are too hot, if it is lower than you are too weak.

Top off reservoir and check PPM again, if in the same general range as the initial just let er go until you see the PPM has dropped by 25% and then re add the full strength nutrient solution to top off. drain and refill every two weeks. DO NOT over monitor and adjust! there is a fine balance of needed and excessive nutrients.

Plants take up approximateluy 75% water vs. nutrients.

here's a good one for noobs that doesn't require ec or tds (as long as you follow the directions to the letter)

gh three part with hardwater micro formula
cal/mag
superthrive
ph up/down
AN hammerhead

all you need for a great and successful grow.

I use Fox Farm grow big, Tiger Bloom and Big Bloom in my aero grows. I tend to like to follow the feeding chart they supply which tells exact amounts of each per gallon, what the ph should be, what the ec should be and what the ppm will be.I then use that as a basis. It starts around 800 for new plants then raises from 1000- 1350 for veg Then from 1350 startingflower to about 1550 ppm on thier charts.I have done enough grows with my strains I learned I can max out each stage safely with higher amounts I finish between 1500- 1950 ppm befire a 3 day flush. I also like to add Bontincare Sweet or Sweet Leaf for that carb boost during flower. I add grotek h2o2 during the whole grow. After plants are rooted its about 5 drops per gallon and I use a 40 gallon res with about 30 gallons of water in it.I also like to have airstones in the res.I have yet to try the fox farm micro additives like open sesame or cha ching but may eventually.Trial and error but start with following the nutes makers reccomended feeding chart as a jumping point. Ph is perfect at 5.8-6 (in hydro aero)no less no more.Air flow will also make a huge difference in any grow.I like to do a clean res change every 2 weeks and let it run 24 hours just water to flush and free extra salt build ups then check my res ppm and add from that.I am curious on advance nutes and may give them a go sometime soon as I have been impressed by what I have seen.Good luck and remeber ph, ppm are very important so have the correct monitoring tools.

I've also been using the GH Maxi Series, Roseman. Seems to work pretty well and buffers the solution a bit.

The KoolBloom is some hot sh*t tho. I burnt the leaves a bit w/ it...but the buds seemed to like it.
