Hey all,
Take a look at these plants and tell me if you see a problem. It looks like my leaves are a bit limp today. I Ph'd the water today (I check Ph every day or so...Ph drift isn't a bad thing if it is within a small window) and added another dose of nutes (Plants are on 1/3 nutes. It's been three days since I added any nutes. Today I dosed my plants with one teaspoon. My res has about ten gallons of water in it).
The first pic (if they post properly) is from this morning. The second two pics are 40 minutes old. I rotated the pots in there individual stations so the plants would get equal light on each side. So if things look a bit different it is because of the rotation. Like I said, I didn't move any out of their original pods.

Hey there friend I don't think they look to rough. They don't look burnt how is the heat at the canopy? Sometimes my leaves curl a bit just after a feed then they mellow out over the next few hours. I think they look okay. |

Hey guys,
Hehe! Wally world special...It does the trick dude!
Hey lucky,
I think you're right. They've been looking good over the past couple of hours. I think it's new grower paranoia and nothing more. I did lower the Ph slightly. I've been Ph'ng it at 6.0 and letting it slowly rise to 6.5, then I bring it back down to 6.0 every other day or so. I've been using the GH test liquid so I can't get the Ph perfect. Yellow is supposed to equal 6.0 so I go by the colors. I think I need to bring it below 6.0 every so often so it gets all the micro nutes it needs. What do you think? I have some pics and some grow journal information but I haven't had the time to update my grow journal thread yet. I should have it up by tomorrow if nothing comes up.
I'm really amazed at the growth I've seen. If I had started these girls out in DWC they'd be four times the size they are now, no joke. You'll understand after I update my journal. I had some special circumstances that slowed things down bigtime.
By the way, if you guys had to venture a guess (judging by the middle plant which is the only one that was started in the Bubbler) would you say this strain was an Indica Sativa Hybrid, leaning more on the Sativa side or more on the Indica side? I doubt that it's a pure Indica and I definitely don't think it's Sativa dominant but what the hell do I know!
The leaves on this little gal are bigger than my thumbs! Wahoo!

There Drooping A-Bit, But Don't Look That Bad, Give Them A-Little Time & See If They Don't Perk Back Up, Or If They Get Worst, We Will Know Something Is Happening & Go From There.

I would say your Ph is what made it go limp
Sweet spot is 5.8 for hydro

Interesting observations guys.
They perked back up and grew a bit last night. As of right now (5:00 am) they're styling and profiling!
I'm using Gh's liquid Ph solution so I go by color and match it to a scale. Yellow is supposed to be 6.0 and orange is supposed to be 5.0. In order to hit 5.8 I guess it should be a deep yellow with highlights of orange. I'm guessing but it sounds logical.
Wow! I thought the lights were close! Maybe because the light strip is centered and I have plants off to the side? Is that what you mean? I need to built a third light strip. I have the "Y" connectors so maybe I'll run out and buy some more bulbs.
I think I panicked yesterday (new grower paranoia) and should have been more patient, watching things closely before sounding the alarm. If something was going wrong I wanted to be on top of it as quickly as possible. I've heard of people loosing all their plants in a matter of a few hours when growing Hydro.
Thanks for all the help guys,
-the Corsican.

Temps might be a bit high, sweetie. They like it at 78, to 80 max. They look really good otherwise! Do you have a fan blowing over the plants? That might just fix it.
Peace

Hey there Corsican I suffer from "nervous Nelly" syndrome too! LOL I think I still look at them too much and worry about the littlest thing. But I love my little plants. | | The Following User Says Thank You to I8ntLucky_UR For This Useful Post: | |

Hey Jangel,
Sure do. I spoke with Hatch and it's his opinion (experience) that 82 is the sweet spot for hydro (or in general, I'm not sure). So far they're really liking the temps and are getting plenty of fresh air. I'm curious to see what will happen when I grow a different strain. Will these temps adversely affect the new strain in a negative manner? Does this strain just like slightly hotter temperatures? You know how it is Jangel, they all react a little differently to environmental conditions.
Thanks for dropping in and offering some advice, same goes for every one else.
Thanks again,
-the Corsican.
P.S.,
Hey Lucky, no doubt about it!

Just remember, nervous Nelly growers add c02 to their plants, so go sit with them and breath on them all you want! LOL!
