Default Nutrient Question..

guys just a general nute question for any of you who have used or know about any use of Flourolicious Plus by GH. i just started adding 1/4 strength to my girls. is this a good product? it has a lot of stuff in it and it claims to be an organic all round additive along with your regular veg or bloom nutes. let me know how it is. thanks!

Hey ICE,I use GH 3-part nutr and koolbloom.I have good grows with them. They are simple and you can adjust them at any time.GH's flouroilicious is a strong organic addtive.Alot of the nutr companys are hipe up there addtives and there nutr. The bottom line is the plants needs the 3 basic N-P-K.The only thing I add is the koolbloom or carbo load which is a refined sugar to boost the carbs in flowering.I will be doing a test run with clones and GL nutr if they ever get here. Those are mineral base nutr and simple to use.Fred seems to like them alot and they work for him.I dont put organic addtives in with non-organic nutr.It sometimes causes more problems then it's worth.Hope that helps Peace

toke thanks for the input...i wasnt totally sure about using Flourolicious Plus...i used it when i did some outdoor and saw serious results. i know its pretty strong..it comes out like a paste more than a liquid. i started using it at 1/4 strength with botanicare power flower and blast off. not sure if i should be adding any calmag with all of this or if the Flouro Plus is enough to cover everything that the calmag has to offer and more.

What type of water?{distilled, spring, tap, rain}That will tell you if you have to add cal-mag and how much. With distilled water about half to full strenght, spring water 1/4 strenght and build up slow, tap 1/4 strenght if needed at all, rain water I'am not sure, that would depent on the area your in,some places have acid rain and some are full of other crap.If you filter your water through a charcoal filter you still dont need but a 1/4 strenght cal-mag.If you have RO water yes cal-mag at 1/2 strenght and build up slow.I would leave out the flourolicious and use the botanicare that your useing. Peace

hey toke i used regular old tap water...so i might not even need calmag? i have been using it very sparingly just to make sure i dont run into any deficiencies.

I've been wondering about the GL nutes... I know you and a few others recommend it, but I wasn't sure about committing to it for a whole crop.

What setups have you tried the GL in and how has it performed for you so far?

I saw in another thread, as well, about shipping times... are they casual about getting things out the door?

I've been using GH FloraBlend/Nectar and had good results so far in my ~25gal DWC, but like all others, I like to tweak and perfect it as much as I can

Thanks in advance!
