Hello,

I'm a new grower

and had a few questions. I currently started up a few plants, hindu kush in particular. I have been using G.H. Floranova Bloom. I'm running a 600w hps light with a small flourensent on the side. I'm using a 5 pod 18 gallon tub with sprayers on the inside and an in water pump as my system. It seems to be working really well. I was wondering what kind of supplements would be good to use with my G.H. Flora Nova. My problem is I just added a few Green Crack plants in my pods that are only a week into flowering. If I add supplements will this harm my G.C. since they are so early in flowering? I'm really just trying to yield as much as possible off my plants considering this is my first time. Please excuse my grammar as Im taking classes for it. Haha.

P.S. Most everybody has been suggesting Kool Bloom. Is this additive any good? Has anyone had decent yields with this?

Hello evoevo, I use GH 3-part nutr and use sweet by botanicare.I have kool-bloom and use it 3 grows ago.It dose alright,but you have to becareful with.Dont use as much as they say to.Also you have to time it to the plant when they want more.With the sweet I use it all the way through veg to flower to finish.The kool-bloom will burn your plants easy too.I got the 1.5 lb box and I still have 1.1/4 of that left.The carbo's are much better for your plants and will fatten up the buds too.I'am testing some supernatural band superlicious it's a sweetening agent{carbo}.Will see how it works.But I know the sweet that botaincare has is good and works.Post a pix or two of your system and all we see.Best of luck and keep posting. Thank you so much Tokecrazy. I have been hearing a lot about kool bloom burns so I wanted to be sure. I was really just looking for a additive I could use with my G.H. Products that would be safe. I appreciate your help as I will be looking into these you recommended.

Wow Thank you so much Hatch. This is exactly what I was looking for. A lot of people have been recommending Liquid Karma. I see you use that, is this a additive? Sorry for sounding a little dumb founded . lol

Yes, All That I Loaded Can Be Use As Additive's Along With Your GH, In Hydro A Little Bit Of Everything Will Go Along Ways..There Are Different Times (clones,veg,flowering) That I Use Different Additive's And Supplement's..

And Any Not asked question Would Be A Dumb One!!EH!!!, That's How You Learn..

When you use different sups. how do you manage your ppm. Any time I start to go over 1000 ppm things go south.I guess what I am asking is how do you figure out how much of each.

Ya You Need To Control The PPM's, For Example I Have 20ga. Res'zz And I Never Put More Then 35ml. Of One Thing, That Help's Keep The PPM's Down, And They Get What They Need.

I have a 20 gal. res. also. What I did was started out with 1/2 of my pro-grow,cal. mag then 1/8 sweet,karma,tiger bloom,big bloom.It turned out about right. I hope that our talk has helped out this tread.

Yes this is helping me out a lot. I really like this community everyone seems so helpful. I appreciate everyones help on all this. I think I might try some of these additives and hopefully I can come out with a decent yield. I will see if I can post up some pictures of my progress.
