Talking music for your girls

so mythbusters did a deal where they talked and played music for plants(believe they were peas). well i was wondering if anyone has tried this. i am now pumping music into my rooms.according to mythbusters heavy metal, rock-n-roll had the best results, larger fruit more of it, they did decide that music was good for your plants. well im a metal head so right now they are getting 24/7 of old metallica(kill em all) godsmack, disturbed, pantera. i know i like going into my grow even more now. i will let ya know what i think.

I dont remember what show it was but I remember one that hooked up an EEG machine to a plant and then set it on fire and froze it and other weird stuff and watched to see if the plant made any movements on the EEG. was stupid but funny as hell and one of those shows that you just keep watching for no reason haha. and yeah I dont think they got any movement on the EEG haha.

ive always wondered about that.. your first thought would be that smoke would be bad for the plants. but ive heard and seen on more than one occasion people toking with there ladies. just don't get too stoned and light a cigarette afterwards lol.... (not that i have)sorry its a filthy habit o' mine that i can't seem to quit.

so how loud do you play the music? and how long?
very interesting

I know plants feel and react to stimulus and also to damage sustained by their nieghbors. I remember in the 70s or 80's there was a book called "The secret Life of Plants". In the book they did similiar experiments to what Somewhereslow talked about. And the plants did react. They would do things like water one plant and not the other right beside it, and both would seem somehow to share the water. They would scald brine shrimp say in a sink and the plants would react to it. Hurt one plant and the others would react in a similiar way...and so on.

They found that classical music or opera gave the optimum growth rate. I am sorry, I admire that music but hey, it is rock and roll in my grow room...just can't listen to the classics too much or I tend to go to sleep. ROCK AND ROLL ALL THE WAY, MAN!

I think they also found that heavy metal was more conducive to growth than elevator music. LOL! I still have that book somewhere...it was very popular at the time, revolutionary. Quite the break through.

Peace

On one of my previous grows, I played nothing but Country/Western music. The growth rate was good; the buds were very dense, smelled and tasted great. The only problem was when I smoked it, I had a tendency to go out and get drunk, and pick up ugly chicks at bars.

I made a 45 hour loop of great ambient music just for my grow room...no reason to think it had any effect...but ....in an energetic universe somehow the vibrations of one think must effect every other thing

smoke is bad for the development of your plants, enviornment wise. Its just like if a dog was introduced into the enviornment, its more work for your plants. I remember watching Disinformation, how the plants reacted in such a harmonious way..really intrigued me.
