light needed for rooting
i'm wondering if i can cut back a little on lights for rooting so that i can save some electricity and cut back on some heat. right now i have 2 large household fluoro bulbs lighting up my cloning shelf and in an area of 2.5 x 4 x 8 ft, with one other 95 watt fluoro grow bulb, my temps hold around 80 degrees with an exhaust fan and circulating fans running constantly. the outside temps, where fresh air is drawn from, is 65 to 70 degrees. i can't figure out what's going, but i can't afford to have the ventilation fan running for 18hrs. if i can go to one fluoro bulb for cloning i'm thinking that might help hold the heat down and give me a few extra cents savings to my electric bill. is there a minimum number of watts i need to root? thanks.
