Default How often do you water on hydro

How often are you suppose to water your plants on hydroponics system. And the rockwool cubes, do they only hold X ammount of water because i have a drip system and the pump runs in 15 minutes timeframes. So I was thinking if 3x a day is too much, to cut it back 2x day

3 cycles a day during veg is not uncomon. Before I went to a Recirc-DWC system I did drip and ran 5 cycles in an 18 hour period. What kind of issues are you experiencing for you to ask this question? I need more info to get you the correct answer.

Goooooddd morning Hydro4life,

Awsome stuff, as long as the little ones look healthy and are growing, all is well. Just monitor the pH, and see that your disolved oxygen is high. Lottsa bubbles. Keep up the outstanding work.

Sry havn't logged on in a while, then I checked my thread, Well I have been doing 3 times a day and its been working awsome, I have a hydro-wizard with a drip pump set up UniversityScientific.com > Web Store Help , The leaves are looking very nice and green. I was just kind of unsure on how often to water them but I figured it out. I'm on day 14 since I planted them and I was also wondering about when I should start using my nuts I got. I was going to start a 1/4 strength solution tonight.

Start feeding the 1/4 strength nutes of your choice just about the time the very first water leaves turn yellow and wilt away. Keep up the good work.

Humm well the edges of the water leaves are starting to turn yellow right now on the very healthy plant, My other plant I got going right now is a little bit smaller had a little bit of a tough start but it pulled thru and those water leaves already like fell off not sure if it was because of a bad start or what but ya, The bigger plant still has them the smaller one's already like fell off
