hum good point.....so in that case there should be no stem in the water at all? just rite up above the water level? or should maybe just the tip of the stem b in the water? ive seen the same method im useing on sum clip off youtube and he said with in nine days u should have roots a popn....

when i built my cloner, i did it 'cause i was having trouble getting anything to root in a reliable way. if you read my thread, the one in my sig, i talk about how much trouble i was having.

it was because of that trouble that i started searching for threads about cloning, in the FAQ's as well. i must have read 50 different threads, with several different designs, some with foggers, some with pumps and plumbing and mister heads.

i researched it like that because i live on a very tight budget and i can't afford to spend money twice. i also like to keep things as simple as possible, the more simple a system is, the less that can go wrong.

what i'm trying to say is, don't take any one persons word for anything until you know, from experience, that they know what they're talking about.

here are just a few of the threads i read through trying to find a reliable way to clone. (i get about 98% success with my cloner and have since i built it)

nice man! thanks for your help! looks like i wont be needing that cloner machine just quiet yet seeing how my babys seem to have grown balls! hope im just seeing shit b/c it sure dose look like a mommy but i know these plants have been threw hell so many times because of my trial and error cuz this is my first REAL atempt at growing what i love. guess this gives me more time to work the kinks out of my baby maken machine!

Ive been asking this question on just about every thread about cloning. I figure sombody will see it and answer me. How long do you run the pump?

You run the pump 24 hours.The bubble cloner it's just a air pump and air stones running 24 hours too all the time till they root.Here's a easy way to diy a cloner cheap.Shoe box{plastic} from walmart,air pump and 6"air stone.Pair of flip flops neoprene kind.Cut holes in the lid and cut the flip flops to fit the hole in the lid.put the air stone in the shoe box and plug in the pump and add PH water and clones.Heres' a couple pixs of the one I made. tokecrazy did u sneek in my closet and take pictures? lol mine and your setup looks so much alike! guess stoned minds think alike! wut size bulb u gat up in that reflector? im running my homemade reflector i posted a tread on weeks ago. i recently added another bulb in it. which makes 3 two 2700k 26watters and a 6500k 26watter. do you mix your lites when flowering?

ive done it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! all three out of three cuttings have huge roots! all with just a shoe box painted black air pump and a stifro foam meat trey!!!! eat your heart out 300 $ cloners!

BTW: I use straight water in mine because with a 98+% success rate, I'm throwing clones in the trash anyway.
