Rep Power: 134 | | Has this ever happened to anyone? (pics)
well i have been flushing exactly for a week, im at day 56, and 98% of my leaves are still dark green, nothing has changed since i started flushing! im running out to radioshack today to get a scope for the trichomes, but my buddy says theres still nutes in those leaves and i should wait regardless.
i have some pics.... sorry their not the best, i have a shitty setup (which i am dramatically improving this winter) but long story short i need another person to get into my setup... any help? EDIT: REASON: Stoned as hell PICT0288(1).JPGPICT0289(1).JPGPICT0290(1).JPG

So you have been flushing for a week, What makes your Buddy say there is still nutes in the leaves. Is it just cuz they haven't changed colour, Cuz if so you friend Is just a little lost.. So you have a healthy plant doesn't mean anything other than that..

Those buds do not look anywhere near ready for harvesting, and I posted that to smokedoja in smokedoja's other thread.
smokedoja, if you harvest prematurely, you will get half potency at best, maybe less potency. Only consider harvsting when you see the stigmas (those white hairs, often mis-nmaed a stamen) starting to change colors from white to red, reddish, or reddish brown. Then and only then will the trichs (trichomes) begin to mature too. There is a chart called a Paulio's Trichome Guide, (Mogie here has it in her FAQ GROW from OVERGROW - ask her to post it) You got to have that $9.95 cent Radio Shack lighted micrioscope to see those trichs and see them changing from clear to Amber. When while, read all you can on When to harvest and Trichomes. There are at least 5 Threads here about it.
Good Luck Bro.
Flushing iS Done to make a more pure taste, but MOST IMPORTANT is POTENCY AND MATURITY.

Rep Power: 171 | | NO, do NOT harvet early. Feed them some BLOOM or BUD nutes. Buds grow like crazy when they are well fed. They can even grow a side bud off of the main bud. After 6 weeks of FLOWERING they take off again, like they caught a second wind or something. NEW FLUFF buds or popcorn buds can develop too. You are leaving 2nd base, approaching third, about to race home with a Home Run, if you do this right. The main thing is PATIENCE. I posted a THREAD here on HARVESTING and trichomes, do a search for it, for HARVEST or HARVSTING and read how you can get different HIGHS from different Trichome colors. Search TRICMOMES here too. You need to wait at least until the 8th week ( 8 IN HYDRO, 9 IN SOIL)if you go by the calender. Or go by the stigma color, but the trich color is the best way. My best buds were harvested at 9 weeks. If you listen to me and take my advise, you are going to be so glad, so very glad. Feed them, get the lights on those buds and be patient!

Here are some pictures explaining when to harvest, you''ll need that $10.00 scope from radio shack, or some other form of magnification.
You'll need atleast a 30x.
What strain are you growing? Indicas usually take 8-9 weeks, Sativas usually take about 12 weeks.

ok ill start em back on bloom nutes, but just to make sure...you said "After 6 weeks of FLOWERING they take off again, like they caught a second wind or something,You need to wait at least until the 8th week ( 8 IN HYDRO, 9 IN SOIL)if you go by the calender"
reading that part made me think you thought i was in the 6th week of flowering....im at the end of week 8....so just to straighten things out for me, you say to start them back on blooming nutes, and wait until the trichs are ready...even if that takes up to 12 weeks? ive researched the harvest times alot, all about the trichome colors and such, its just that when i started flushing i thought that the trichs would be ready.... im just wondering what to do now that their not ready, at the end of week 8, and a week into a premature flush....

as for a fuckup, simply add nutes to your plain water and watch them grow, nothing to it.
however, not ALL strains' pistils will be all red hairs at harvest; my dg is ready when only 50-75% of the hairs have turned, and it continues to put out new hairs for three weeks after ideal harvest. so keep that in mind too. hairs don't say when it's ready, the trichs do; i just use the hairs as an indicator for when to start looking.

bad news .... my furnace broke today,i had a buddy come out to check it out and he said im lucky the house didnt catch fire, im glad that didnt happen but now i have to fork out all my savings i have for my next grow, and chop my plant because my fusebox is in the same room, and apparently you need to get to that for replacing a furnace (i have no idea im not a furnace guy) AND i just ran to the hydro store to get more nutes!!!!
arrgghh!!! is there any other solution?.... maybe if it wasnt so damn cold already (here) i could put it off a couple of weeks, but i cant wait more than 2-3 days! it'll be near impossible to move all of it, and to where? i cant seem to find a solution... EDIT: This emotion explains it all
