Grow Cab off & running

Hello Everybody, this long awaited day has findly got here.My cab is in operation.Here's the run down,I build this cab cause what they are selling costs too much or just not very good.The cab looks like a wardrow cabinet,I build one side to start seeds & clones in on a slide out tray,for easy access to the 10"x20' tray with a dome.and 3-24" 30watt flros,two computer fans for air circulate air.The light bar slides out also.The main grow area is a ebb&flood tray 22"x22"x7" with a 15 gal res.One cooltube 400 watt light MH with electronic ballast,300 cfm fan pulling air through the light exhausting out the top.One 200cfm fan in the bottom in the darkroom vent pushing fresh air into the grow area.Thats the main parts of the cab.The whole cab is made of maple plywood and soild cherry wood trim.In the res I have two 12" air stone,powerhead to circlate the nutr and add more 02 to the nutr.One air pump to each air stone.The feed pump is 264 gph on a digital timer.Lights on a second digital timer.The 300cfm fan runs all the time and the 200cfm come on with the lights.I'am feed them 3 part GH flro and diamond nectar.The water is tap and aged for 48 hours,PH to 5.6.The cab was suppose to be in the 2nd bed room next to the flowering closet,well I missed measured the hallway where it turns.So its in the living room.Just a 1/2" more room and it would be in.That why the bottom trim is off in the last pixs.The whole cost of all parts and wood came to $1150.00.I could have bought a metal cab and use it the way they had design it for $2200.00.I may sell this one and build one with out the clone secton.But that's later down the road.Here's the pix of the start to now,Hope you all like,I will keep a journal of the grow and post the good & the bad. if you have the ability, building a cab seems like the only reasonable thing to do... those prefab ones are so over priced...

Thanks smokedoja,I have and now I have had a monday from hell,The PH keeps going up and I lower it and up it go's.I'am going to change the res torrom and see If I can get control of it.I have a DWC bucket going at the same time and I change it tonight.The PH down I got from homedepot {Beckett water gardening system} the stuff is crap.The PH go's up in 5 to 6 hours after addjusting it.Got some PH stuff order,few days to get here.top it off my tds meter craped out.I'am going to bed and see what torrom brings.Peace

Hey everybody,Little up date I have been chasing the PH.It keeps going up and I drop it down to 5.5.In about 5 hours its back up to 7.5.The only PH down I have is from homedepot,for ponds and it ok for plants and fish.I ordered some hydroponic PH down and PH up and it will be here the 29th.The temps in the cab are staying at 78, 79 day time and drops to 69, 72 at night.Humidity 48 to 34.Everything is working like I planed but the ph.I did move the ballast to the top of the cab.this one puts off more heat than the other ballast,there both the same.I'am shore it the ph down thats the problem,cause the bubble bucket is doing the same thing.I changed the res water and added new nutr tuesday and still the same thing.When the ph down gets here I'am changing and cleaning and will see whats up.Anybody has any ideas I'am all ears. PEACE
