Flood pipe grow build

Hey All,I do know what you mean jangels,I was benting it to far to fast. When I grew outside a few moons back I would pinch the stems and twist it and put a stake in next to it and support it.I did that to all of then one year and they all had 4 big colas.The wind one time blew a 3' tall plant over sideways almost 90 degree,I tied it down to stay that way and it grew all of it's branches straight up about 4' .Even tho I rush it alittle this time I still had to tie them back some more.The string is not supporting them anymore it's pulling them back down.That's some good advise jangls to rest the chain on the media to help her out. Thanks toke. I like that info about twisting the stem. It is supercropping aiy? I am going to try that with the clones I have out. See what happens. I have several with many branches so if I try it on that, could get interesting.

P.S. I have some I am doing that laying it down thing on outside. Haven't posted them yet but will but here's what they look like. tired now...been working all day....dogs out...dogs in....feed dogs, clean, dogs out, dogs in. one more dogs out dogs in and I am done!

Hey Guys and Gals,This girl is doing find.She stop getting taller after I pinched her main stem and bent her over.I tie her down and supported some branches too.She looks like she will do what the other two are doing in the cab.The buds grow dense and hard like the others I will be a happy camper.The other one is not getting alot of light so she a little on the thin side.I think about 4 more weeks and she will be ready.My cab will harvest any day now. Whopie this will be nice. Peace

They are just starting into the smell alittle bite,not much.But the other two in the cab smell alotSo I know these will to. Peace

GREAT settup toke. a few questions... , the pipe is empty? whats the growing medium? how often is the pipe flooded? for how long...

wish i had a workshop a home

Hey ileso, Yes the pipe ie empty,the roots fill up inside.The net pots have hydroton in them.I flood for 15mins total.That's about 5mins to flood and about 10 mins to drain back to the res.I flood 5 times in 24 hours. Thanks for the comps guys. Peace

whats the average dry weight produced from that one tube/unit? oh and what light u got?

Thanks KGB30.ileso I havent taken a harvest from it.I just build it and this is the first run.There'sonly two plants in there now and one is small and stretched out.The light is a 400watt Hps.Will be up grade to a 600 watt soon.I would guess about 3 or 4 ozs off the two.I know now more of how this system will work and I think next time around 1lb if every thing go's just right.
