Flood pipe grow build

Hey Guys and gals,Well it's time I build a new flood &drain setup.The closet as been havested and is waiting on the the ice clones to get ready to start.I got a 10" pipe{pvc} from work.Cut it to lenght at 41" long.Next I drilled 4 - 3"5/8 hole in the pipe for the net pots that are 3" 3/4.It's alittle ticky but I heated the pipe with a heat gun and formed a depresson for the fill drain pump line.This way all the nutr drain back to the res.I didnt depress the pipe for the overflow drain.I drilled a flate bottom hole the size of the coupling and finished the hole with drill size for the male threaded coupling.That wasnt to hard to do.I was going to buy two end caps for it,BUT after seeing that they cost $147.00 each I cut some plastic I had and made end caps.I used plastic srews and taped the holes and seal them with silicone.If anybody looking a good res go to lowes they a 27 gal heavy duty totes.They will hold 400 lbs too for $18.00.The res in my cab is a 17 gal and I made the top for it.It's the one with the gray top.They are $10.95 at home depot.These are very good totes at a good price too.I havent mounted the pipe in a stand and will be in a couple a days so you can see how easy it will be to change the res.In the res one 264 gal ecoplus pump and two 6" round air stones with a 125 gal fish tank air pump.3"3/4 net pots ,hydroton,GH 3-part nutr and ice clones under air cooled 400 watts MH to veg and HPS to flower.Here 's some pixs of what I have got done so far.Should have it finished and running by sunday.I'll post more as I get it done. Very nice setup, toke. How long will you veg them? I would think that they would have to be fairly small, to fit 4 plants in 41 inches. At 41 inches, you could fit maybe 3 pipes, side by side? I can see some possibilities for a future grow of mine.

Hey Everybody,Today has been a full day working on the ebb pipe.Set it up on the bench and ran the the water tight tests.Passed,set the water level of the res, it holds 20 gals of water.Flooded the pipe and clamp off the pump line after full and measure how many gals she holds flooded.{12 gals}. Then I started the stand to hold the ebb pipe 6"above the res.I'll have that done tomorrow.The height of the ebb pipe on the stand is 34" from floor to the top.That leave me about 4' of space under the light.More on the build tomorrow.I'am alittle tired.Peace

Hey All, Well today I started out to get the stand done and the closet cleaned and the light and fan and all cleaned and checked out,Ha Got a good start and a buddy stoped by and Had this pearal smoke.We fire it up.Next comes three more people holding me up.I'am stone and working and doing good.Three trips to home depot for lag bolts.Where I have them I dont know,but there's a box of them here somewhere's .Findly I finished the stand.It's good and ready.This week I'll get the closet cleaned and ready.I'am waiting on these quick connect fittings and I will start it up.There is one change in the start.I got my Greenlightnin nutr yesterday so now I can do what I planed to use as nutr.Oh I was drilling the holes in the legs and the drill press messed up.I'am stone,so I fixed it about a hour later it's fixed. With all that going that's all I got done for the day.Here's the pixs. Peace

Damn Toke...whatever it is you do, you do it with CLASS!

Lookin sweet, and now that I hear you're using these GreenLightnin nutes, I'm even more excited to see how the first grow goes. I want to do an ebb/flo with these nutes (GL) and your table is gonna be the test subject for PPM's, etc...

The stuff is wicked, let me tell ya!

Hey Everybody,Well I got the the pipe in the closet and the res all set up.All pumbing ran and the two 5" air stones in the res and working.I got just plain water right now but later today I will be tranplanting the 4 ICE clones in her. This run will be with GL nutr with no additives just the GL A&B grow and A&B bloom along with accelerator and foliar boost.Here's some pixs of what I got done so far.There's always a few thing I still have to do but in most is all done.
