They could be great, yes certain ones are not for hydro, but you can use for one day in hydro max, per res, change. Another one of them you have to raise lights 6 to 12 inches, etc. I do not want to try unless I have some plants to kill, lol. I don't want to give to my whole grow and hurt them all, and I can't give it to just one as I have to raise the lights which is going to affect the non dosed ones. You might be able to get some free samples, my hydro store has tons. I have heard some horror stories too. Gotta be careful...good luck Fletch if u decide to use i would love to hear how it worked. Hell I might dose one plant when the oppurtunity presents itself.

Using GH Maxi Grow/Bloom and KoolBloom in the DWC here. Seems to be working well.
I peaked my ppm on the last res change @ 1600....and have dropped it this week to 800 and have started adding the KoolBloom (day 43). Didn't wanna fry anthing being that I'm a noob using chems! Yikes! Purty colors tho! Wow..orange/pink water!!

I tried using some Pure Blend Pro and LK but it clogged up the float valve. I was bummed because friends use that combo with great results and I wanted to go as organic as possible. However, after cleaning out the res/float valve...etc and seeing the nasty residue it all left I ditched it and headed for the GH. So far...so good...and as kp says...I'm not sure I'll use anything else nute-wise from here on out.

I have experience with the Humboldt Co products in soil & coco. And YES...a STRONG warning is advisable. It's wicked shit..and like it says in the directions (and you'd better read em a few times!), less is more...and if you like to just DUMP nutes in without measuring...PASS on this stuff. You need to experiment..and you need to be precise/need to know how much you are dosing with. (kinda like acid..LOL)

I no longer use the products. The Bushmaster WORKS...and the buds CHUNK like mad...but it comes with a price..and that is you can BURN them easily and they will STRESS...and then the buds will PACK on the weight. The only problem I saw (others say this also) is that the TRICHS seem to have a hard time keeping up with the bud mass. I can't say that it lessens the bud quality..but it definitely changes it.

GRAVITY seem to help add mass. PURPLE MAXX seems to do little to make thing purple. What it does do (IMO) is to cause the nutes in the soil to release and give the plant a whap of stress right at the end. Again..you can BURN with this...and I would caution using it...if you do...don't add nutes or do it the watering right AFTER using a buncha bloom boost er something of the sort.

IMO, you'll be better of using a good nute program and let the plant do it's thing rather than trying to tweek it using these types of products.

good luck! btdt

Weird I actually switched to Botanicare cause my old nutes were mucking up my hydro...lol. I have no problems with Botanicare but I am using everything they recommend like Hydroguard, no muck for me. once again many different people use many different things with many different results...lol.
